Voca Tooki ( The product )
Voca Tooki is an innovative digital learning platform designed to revolutionize language learning education. We provide a smooth, personalized, and low-cost learning experience, empowering learners through interactive exercises, phonetics training, and activities covering all key language skills: reading, writing, listening, and speaking. With detailed progress tracking and tailored advice, we ensure that learners achieve their goals effectively.
We are looking for a talented Full Stack Developer to join our team and help scale and improve our system. If you are passionate about EdTech, AI-driven solutions, and building scalable web applications, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
Front-End Development:
Develop intuitive and responsive UI using js
Implement interactive components that enhance the teacher and student experience
Optimize performance and accessibility across different devices
Work with UI/UX designers to ensure seamless user experiences
Back-End Development:
Build and maintain a scalable js backend with Express.js/Nest.js
Design RESTful APIs for communication between front-end and back-end
Integrate databases (e.g., DynamoDB, MySQL) for efficient data storage
Implement authentication, authorization, and user roles management
DevOps & Deployment: (Optional)
Set up CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment
Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Firebase, or similar)
Monitor system performance and optimize database queries
Collaboration & Code Quality:
Work with Product Managers, Designers, and QA to meet project goals
Conduct code reviews and maintain best practices in TypeScript, JavaScript, and Git workflows
Write unit and integration tests to ensure software reliability
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
At least 2 years experience in front-end and back-end development.
2 years experience in React.js and Node.js.
Experience working with RESTful APIs, cloud services, and database management.
Solid understanding of authentication mechanisms, testing frameworks, and DevOps practices - Advantage.
Technical Skills:
Front-end: React.js, Redux, Next.js (preferred)
Back-end: Node.js, Express.js or Nest.js
Databases: MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Firebase
Cloud & DevOps: AWS, Firebase, Docker, CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Jenkins) - advantage
Authentication: JWT, OAuth, Firebase Auth
Version Control: Git, GitHub/GitLab
Experience in AI-based solutions or EdTech platforms - advantage
Soft Skills:
Strong problem-solving abilities
